Georgette and Lisa have been watching our girls since 2002. Our puppies are both 16 years old, so they have needs beyond what the local neighbors can provide. When moving to the area in March 2004, the most significant concern I had was finding a dog walking service to ensure that Luckie was taken care of while I was at work and starting a new job. To my surprise, not only did I find a GREAT dog walking service but Luckie found new friends – Georgette and Lisa – who spoil and cater to him just like I do!
Luckie can be a crotchety old man and sometimes gets a little moody so finding just the right person was key. Also, since Luckie has had some health problems – arthritis, ACL repair on his back leg, and most recently being diagnosed as a diabetic – his schedule and his needs sometimes vary from day to day. Georgette and Lisa are always willing to do whatever is necessary to ensure that Luckie is well taken care of – from coming over at the last minute when the security alarm went off and I was worried that Luckie may have been upset, to coming extra times (even on weekend evenings) to check in on Luckie when he has had changes to his insulin doses, or just because he may be alone for a lengthly period of time.
Agape has been more than willing to work with me on a schedule which has recently been very erratic, and which often changes at the last minute. Knowing that Luckie has someone checking on him mid-day is a great benefit to me since I know that if anything is wrong, Georgette or Lisa will call me so that I can come home to take care of him. I was offered a new job which meant longer hours away from home. I needed to find someone to take care of Buster and Dixie during the day. As soon as I interviewed Georgette and Lisa, I knew I found the right people. Buster and Dixie warmed up to them right away too. I’ve been a customer of Agape Pet Care for over one year. Lisa visits every day, and the love and care she gives my babies is unsurpassed. But more importantly is how much my babies love Lisa. She even manages to get kisses from Buster, and believe me, he is very stingy with his kisses.
Just a few months ago Dixie passed away. Georgette and Lisa shed many tears with me, and gave me and Buster support. Lisa helped Buster get through his mourning and he is smiling again. They are both very warm and loving people.

We moved to Fairfax for a short-term contract in September and uprooted our entire family which included 4 cats and 2 dogs. We were all used to the convenience of our home in Florida with a fenced in back yard. Our dogs, Lestat and Gypsy, are older and were very set in their ways. The first time we made plans to go somewhere I hesitantly made reservations at a kennel for our dogs - when I went to visit the kennel a few days before our departure, I realized there was NO WAY I was going to leave them there. I looked in the phone book for pet sitters and found Agape. I called Georgette in a panic and she was wonderful. She brought Kim, the sitter that watched our dogs every time, over to meet us. From that point on, we never hestitated to leave for a weekend, day, or any time. In March of 2000 I was very stressed trying to find someone to walk my dogs during the day when I was at work. I was lucky enough to find Agape's number at my local vet's. So I called and Georgette came by to visit. The minute she walked through my door, we all loved her. My dogs are my life and so it was vital that I had someone who would love them like I do. Georgette used to leave me notes and at a moment's notice would go and walk my dogs if an emergency came up. We then moved to an area where Georgette did not work, so I struggled for a few years depending on friends to look after my babies. Sadly my eldest dog, Scooter, died last year and Bonnie and I were so upset.However, this year we moved back to Centreville. The minute I got there, I contacted Georgette to tell her we were back in the area and we would love for her to come and see Bonnie.

In October 2004, my husband and I got a 12 pound, 9-week old pit bull terrier, Titan. Because we work long hours, we wanted a dog walker to let the puppy out in the middle of the day. My husband called around and once most services heard Titan was a pit bull, they wanted nothing to do with him. Then, he called Agape Pet Care. Georgette had no reservations about helping our dog. My husband and I moved into the Centreville area in January of 2006. We were very concerned about finding a suitable "nanny" for our beagles, Jax and Sammy. In April of 2005, I moved from Reston to Centreville. I was excited to be moving into my first home with a fenced in backyard for my poochies to play in. Unfortunately, this move put me a bit farther from work and would increase my time away from the house and more importantly my two babes, Lexi and TJ. I started searching for mid day walkers and initially chose Agape Pet Care because of their name. A year later I am more than happy with my decision and have found that Agape has a lot more to offer than just a unique name. The walkers are all very loving and genuine in caring for Lexi and TJ. Maureen is our current walker and she always leaves me glowing notes about my kids. She even puts up with my newest kitten who is always begging her for attention and treats. Sometimes I feel like she spoils them more than I do.Not only does Agape provide mid day walks at my house, they often come over on weekends to take care of my three finicky felines (Herbert, Spells, & Leuther). When we decided on very short notice to add a puppy to our family we were undecided about what we would do for her during the day. My cousin had been using Georgette's services for awhile and told us to call; that we would not be disappointed. Well, he was right. From the moment Georgette and Lisa came to visit Penny she absolutely loved them! Penny and Lisa soon became fast friends and we couldn't be happier. We have been customers of Agape Pet Care Inc. since 2006 and are completely satisfied with their service. We have one dog named Simba, one cat named Whiskers and two hermit crabs. We used to take our animals to the vet, but we found it put undo stress on them even for the shortest stays. June 2007, we planned our first vacation in years. Our Siamese Saturn had grown so accustomed to us being at home, we were worried about leaving him in a kennel. We'd only had Antonio a few weeks when we had to travel to FL for a week and we were very concerned about how to get trustworthy care for our two precious boys, especially so soon after Antonio came into the household. I was concerned because a 10 month old kitten shouldn't go 13 hours without food and they need lots of attention. So we checked the internet through our concierge service at work for pet caregivers and there just weren't any. Out of desperation I called our vet's office and was told there was a lady who had her own service who was a client of the vet as well. This was great news. When I found out the name of the company was "Agape" I knew I had been sent in the right direction.
Georgette came out and interviewed us, checked out our home, and met PJ and Antonio. They took to her right away. She explained that she would assign the perfect cat person to our boys and that person would come on a schedule that we were comfortable with and spend 30 minutes with them, feeding, playing and loving them, AND they would even clean the cat boxes and bring in the mail for no extra charge! Wow! Now, let me tell you what really happened.
KC, our perfect cat person, was exactly that perfect for our boys! From the very first experience we could tell when we got home that they were well cared for, loved, and played with. Both boys actually looked at us when we got home like, "Oh, hi." They were completely content and, other than mooching food because it was the thing to do, they were neither offended by our absence nor desperate for attention. And every visit has built from there. After each visit KC leaves us a note telling us how the visit went, and the beauty of this little gesture is that we can tell from the very words she writes that not only is she doing everything Georgette promised, but the cats are really letting her become a welcome and cheerful part of their lives. addition to our out of town travels, we've contracted to have KC visit one weekday dinnertime every week to give us time to stay late at the office if necessary or have an evening out if it's not. The boys have a consistent pattern where KC is around regularly enough so when we do go out of town for a night, a weekend or a week, they just take it in stride because they feel loved and safe and secure. Through her notes we see that they are pulling the same pranks and playing the same games for KC that they do for us, and there is nothing more reassuring to a pet owner than knowing that they behave the same way when you're gone as they do when you're there.
Last but most important of all is that our boys are proof that Agape Pet Care is THE BEST! When our faithful KC went on vacation the same week we did, Georgette assigned a backup caregiver, Katie, who clearly gave them the same loving, faithful care that KC does. We know this because we were greeted by two very happy cats who did not snub us even for a minute. They talked up a storm to tell us all the exciting things they'd been doing while we were gone and slept with us that night. What a tremendous relief it is to know that every time we have to be away from our precious cats we can literally go in peace, knowing they are in the very best hands.

We cannot thank Georgette enough for Agape Pet Care and the careful way she screens her caregivers and assigns them to their perfect match. We have gained so much peace of mind over these past seven months seeing PJ and Antonio just blossom in their friendship with each other and with KC and now Katie.
